Accessibility Statement

Effective date: May 6, 2026 · Last updated: May 6, 2026

1. Our Commitment

Pasadena Clinical Group is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone, and apply the relevant accessibility standards to our website and to the digital tools we use to deliver care.

2. Conformance Target

The website is designed and maintained to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.2 Level AA is the standard adopted in the U.S. Department of Justice's April 2024 final rule under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and it is widely recognized as the appropriate technical benchmark for places of public accommodation under Title III of the ADA and California's accessibility statutes.

3. Legal Posture

Our digital and in-person services are intended to comply with:

  • Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (42 U.S.C. §§12181 et seq.), which prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability by places of public accommodation.
  • California Unruh Civil Rights Act (Cal. Civ. Code §§51–52), which provides that all persons in California are entitled to full and equal accommodations and services in business establishments. A violation of the ADA is also a violation of the Unruh Act.
  • California Disabled Persons Act (Cal. Civ. Code §§54 et seq.).
  • Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act, which requires effective communication for individuals with disabilities and language assistance for individuals with limited English proficiency.

4. Features That Support Accessibility

Among the features we have implemented or maintain on this site:

  • Semantic HTML with heading hierarchy, landmarks, and ARIA where appropriate.
  • Keyboard navigation for all interactive controls, including a "Skip to content" link.
  • Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements.
  • Sufficient color contrast to meet or exceed WCAG 2.2 AA contrast ratios for text and meaningful non-text elements.
  • Alternative text for informative images, with decorative images marked as such.
  • Screen reader compatibility with current versions of NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
  • Resizable text up to at least 200% without loss of content or functionality.
  • Respect for reduced-motion preferences through prefers-reduced-motion.
  • Accessible forms with associated labels and clear error messages.
  • Spanish-language summaries on key pages and a fully translated Spanish version of the site at /es/.

5. Office Accessibility

Our Pasadena office at 301 N. Lake Ave, STE 600 is in an ADA-accessible building with elevator access, accessible restrooms, and accessible parking. Service animals as defined by the ADA are welcome. Telehealth, available seven (7) days a week, provides another route to care for clients for whom in-person attendance is a barrier.

6. Audit and Testing

We use a combination of automated tools (axe DevTools and Lighthouse), keyboard-only walkthroughs, and screen-reader testing as part of our development process, and we repeat third-party accessibility testing at least once every twelve (12) months.

7. Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Known issues are tracked internally with prioritized remediation dates. If you encounter a barrier we have not already documented, please tell us — that is the fastest way for us to fix it.

8. Feedback and Requesting Assistance

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website and our services. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or if you need an accommodation to access information, complete an intake form, or attend a session, please contact:

Nothing in this Statement limits your right to file such a complaint or to cooperate with any government investigation. To the extent a private claim arises out of or relates to this Statement and is not subject to a non-arbitrable carve-out, it is subject to the Mediation, Then Binding Arbitration provisions of our Terms and Conditions and, where applicable, the Arbitration Agreement at treatment-consent.html, including the class-action waiver, government-filing carve-outs, and confidentiality provisions, all under the Federal Arbitration Act, 9 U.S.C. §§1 et seq.

11. Governing Law and Severability

This Statement is governed by California law without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Venue for any non-arbitrable matter lies in the state and federal courts of Los Angeles County, California. If any provision of this Statement is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

12. Changes to this Statement

We will revise this Statement from time to time as our practices and the underlying standards evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
